What are the differences between our Élixir Précieux (botanical perfume) and the regular Eau de Parfum?
Regular Eau de Parfum generally has a fragrance concentration of between 15%-20%. The fragrances are mostly lab-created and mass-produced with the cheapest methods available.
Our botanical perfume is an alcohol-free, jojoba-oil-based elixir, with the highest concentration of plant extracts ranging from 45%-55%. The elixir is made with precious plant extracts, phthalate-free essential oils and flower absolutes.
This delicate balance of scents allows our elixirs to offer a more potent and long-lasting allure on the skin. Organic ingredients may be responsive to each individual's body to create a unique scent for everyone.
Are you products vegan?
Yes, we can confirm that our products are vegan and cruelty-free. We also make sure that our ingredients are sustainably-sourced.
Botanical perfume longevity
Botanical perfume longevity can be very subjective depending on your body chemistry, humidity, temperature and scent types. On average natural fruity and citrusy notes last shorter compared to floral and woody notes. Our botanical perfumes last 2-4 hours. They will become part of you, a scent of your skin after a few hours. Re-application throughout the day is recommended.
Phthalates are responsible for the longevity of synthetic perfumes, our botanical perfumes are made using only plant-based ingredients free from phthalates.
If your only goal is to have a strong fragrance, then botanical perfumes may not be for you.
The fragrance I recently purchased is different color than the one I bought last time.
Due to the nature of botanical ingredients, one batch can have a slightly different color than the other. Plant-based ingredients may vary due to four seasons, temperature change, variability of harvest time and the effects of altitudes.
